ITINERARY
As with all our private tours our driver guide will meet you at your hotel / airport or cruise pier and from there we start your day from Barcelona to the famous wine region of Priorat in Tarragona, the trip lasts approximately 2 hours per highways, once we get to the winery Clos de L’Obac a responsible family will be waiting to welcome and accompany into their cellars for start your private tour, the duration of the visit is about 2 hours, where you will learn the elaboration of these fantastic and exclusive wines, after finishing the visit you will have the opportunity to taste 4 of the best wines of the cellar valued at 450€, after the tasting if you wish you can do some shopping of their fantastic wines or if you have decided to take the lunch option will have a table ready for you where you can enjoy a tasting of typical products of the region and of course may continue tasting their fantastic wines at the lunch.
Once you finish the visit your driver will be waiting for them to return to Barcelona and end a fantastic day having discovered one of the most important wine regions of Catalonia.

in our exclusive wine tour we offer to our customers the option of completing their tour of the winery and enjoy a nice lunch in a typical restaurant of the region, this will be the best option if you wish to complete the perfect day tasting the best wines of Priorat and complete the day with tipical local lunch. - CLOS DE L’OBAC
Clos de l’Obac is a wine of extraordinary power, structure and complexity. These characteristics are the result of the diversity of orientations and altitudes of seven vineyards (of a total of eight), which are located around the town of Gratallops and planted with vines of the grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, syrah, merlot and cariñena varieties. In this way, while the old cariñena and grenache vines (planted over 50 years ago) give this wine its unmistakable Priorat character, the other varieties assure its unique personality based on a balance of strength and finesse.
- DOLÇ DE L’OBAC
The eighth vineyard, called Camp dels Espills, is a small property where the grapes are left to over-ripen on their vines each year. Afterwards, when their fermentation comes to a natural halt, a residual natural sugar is preserved that makes Dolç de l’Obac a very suitable wine for aging in the bottle which is unique worldwide and which forms an especially appropriate accompaniment for blue cheeses, foie-gras and bitter chocolate, among other delicacies.
- MISERERE
The special features of MISERERE (Mas d’en Bruno, 13th century) stem from the grapes of old vines –planted more than 40 years ago– of the local grenache and ull de llebre varieties and from grapes of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in El Priorat, masterfully combined with grapes of the merlot and cariñena varieties. Planted in one of the finest slate soils of the whole DOQ Priorat area, these five varieties give MISERERE the honour of being one of the most elegant wines apt for aging in the bottle to be found in the international market today, without sacrificing any of the great structure and strength that define all true PRIORAT wines.
- KYRIE
At the lower end of Mas d’en Bruno, with a southern exposure, lies the little Kyrie vineyard, which contains vines of four varieties of classic white grapes of Catalonia: white grenache, macabeu, xarel•lo and muscat of Alexandria. The optimum ripening of the four varieties making up this white wine, together with a slight maceration of the grape skins, gives Kyrie an exceptional structure and complexity as well as an exquisite finesse. Aged in new casks of French oak, it offers excellent expectations of long life and good development in the bottle over a period of many years.
