Dali Tour: Figueres & Cadaques Day Tour
Discover the famous painter and excultor Salvador Dalí during this day trip from Barcelona, visit the famous Dali museum in Figueres and its house museum in the village of Cadaques (Portlligat) on the Costa Brava.
Itinerary:
We will start our day trip from Barcelona picking you up at from your hotel - airport or Barcelona cruise port and head out to the small village of Figueres which forms one of the three points that form the so-called "Dalinian triangle" and where he was born and spent his childhood Salvador Dalí, In the same Figueres is located which is considered the 'largest surrealist object in the world', The Salvador Dalí Museum-Theater. Designed by himself on the ruins of the old municipal theater, during the visit to the interior of the museum you will immerse himself in the painter's mind thanks to his most complete collection, in a tour of the most bizarre artifacts imaginable, discovering all the work of this fantastic surrealist painter.
We will follow the artist's steps to one of those wonderful hidden corners of the Costa Brava, Cadaqués. The most easterly town of the Iberian peninsula, it draws a picture where the white houses, the sea and the capricious forms of its mountainous relief merge into a unique image. There you can walk through its labyrinth center, relax on the seafront and taste - if you wish - the typical cuisine of a fishing village.
A few kilometers from Cadaques is Portlligat where Dali's house museum is located, inside you can visit his studio where the painter created his most important works and make an intimate tour of the rooms where he lived with his beloved muse and wife, Gala.
Due to the number of visitors that the House-Museum of Portlligat can receive in high season and the limited capacity of the house-museum, tickets are limited. We recommend making the reservation as early as possible so as not to lose the opportunity to visit one of the most picturesque places on the Costa Brava and where Dali found the inspiration to complete his work.
Optional: We recommend that you visit inside the Dalí museum with your private guide and in this way you can better understand the work of this incredible artist, but in case you do not want this option and prefer to visit the museum on your own please indicate this inforrmation in the pree booking form where it indicates other information, etc ... and that way we can offer you a modification of the tour price.
