5 things to do and see in Barcelona in a few days

Barcelona is a great city full of things to do. But also, is quite handy so you can have all these things pretty close to you and enjoy them very quickly.
Do you happen to go to Barcelona only for a few days? Don’t be afraid, you will have plenty of time to do lots of things and it will look like you have been there for months.

The Ramblas

This is almost mandatory: visiting the Ramblas is an obvious choice for any person who goes to Barcelona. The perfect choice because it’s in the middle of the city: you can’t miss the Ramblas, their people, their stands, the human statues, the painters… Also in the Ramblas you will see the Liceu, the Opera House and La Boqueria, Barcelona’s and Spain’s most famous market.
See? Only visiting the Ramblas you have seen many of the highlights of the city.

Barcelona’s port

Picture yourself: you’re at the end of las Ramblas, you have seen Christopher Columbus statue (even go up there with an elevator, if you like). Where are you? At Barcelona’s port, maybe you could take a golondrina, the little boats to see the port in full, or maybe travel through the bridge to the Maremagnum mall.

Gotic district

Also in the area you will find the Gotic district, which is the oldest part of the city and also one of the most magical. Many buildings and museums remember how was the city many centuries ago. A district full of history and remembering. Have you seen the Hospital del Mar o the Cathedral? Also you will find new and modern buildings like Santa Caterina’s market, and the coolest district in the city: Born.

Sagrada Familia

Let’s take the underground, also known as metro, and go up until Sagrada Familia Station. It’s just under the most known monument in the city. If you happen to buy the tickets a few days early, you won’t have to do very much line, saving time, in case you need it.
Once you’re in the Sagrada Familia you will be amazed of how big it is, how tall and how magic. And it’s not even finished! Be sure to check every corner of the Sagrada Familia, also the museum and don’t forget to take a look at the souvenir shop.

A bit clubbing

Even if you’re in Barcelona only for a few days, we recommend you to take some time off from the visiting and enjoy the fun of the night. You can go to the Plaza Real and enjoy their bars and their live music, or you can go clubbing and have fun at Razzmatazz.

So, as you can see, you can travel through Barcelona in a few days and see a lot of things: shopping places, monuments, and even have some time to treat yourself and have fun at night.
